Milk reception

As you are only imagining, let’s try to exaggerate…you got up really early today in order to be here at six in the morning!
In this case you would meet a tank that drives through the same gate that you were waiting outside before. It will stop in a precise spot and wait. This spot is a road weigh. With this weigh we control the weight of the truck including its content when it arrives and when it’s empty we repeat the procedure again before it leaves.
When this is done, the truck continues to the loading dock. Here you will meet “Mr Cillo” and the “Dwarf”, one of them take a sample of the milk and bring it to the laboratory. In the laboratory, analysis will be performed as fast as possible in order to understand if the milk is within the standard or not.
You would see expensive and prominent instruments that give you results of the sample in a few minutes.
In fact, every day we verify that the milk doesn’t contain antibiotics, aflatoxins, that it hasn’t become washy or acid and that it has the right content of fat.
All this, only in order to start and bring the milk into our production plant. Actually, during all the different steps of the production, further analyses are made, these require longer time before we have results. In this way, the milk is monitored for the entire cycle through different controls and analyses in order to ensure its goodness.
