Naan bread

Ingredients for 6 persons:

  • 1/2 kg of white flour;
  • 5 g of yeast;
  • 2 bsp of plain yogurt Frascheri;
  • Extra virgin olive oil;
  • salt;
  • 2 of fresh milk with high quality Frascheri;
  • 1 tsp sugar;
  • Sesame seeds (white and black);
  • 60 g of butter Frascheri;
  • tiepid water.

Preparazione:

Melt the yeast in a bowl with the milk, add sugar and stir. Add the sesame seeds, flour, 15 g of room tempered butter, the yogurt and some salt.
Mix the ingredients with your hands. Pour tepid water until you obtain an elastic, but still firm, dough. Slightly oil the dough and leave it to rest covered with a tepid cloth for at least 2 hours. When the dough is ready, divide it into 6 equal pieces. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin giving it a round shape or oval if you prefer. Place your rounds in an oiled baking pan. Bake with grill function for about 10 minutes.

Naan bread is a typical Indian bread that generally is served with meat or fish diches. Also try it with curry or tandoori chicken.
